You get your meat back at Cordray's. How do we do it?

We tag your deer with your name when you come in the door. Then we take your order by computer inside the retail store. We match your name to the order sheet after the deer is skinned and weighed and ready for the cooler. That way we can pull your deer order when we pull your deer out to cut. We cut your deer separately according to your order and label the tray. Your name and order number are placed on the box when that tray is packaged and put in the freezer for your pick up.  The only things that are batched together are cooked products, meat loaf, and salisbury steak.  These products require large quantities of meat to meet the recipe guidelines. Batching cooked products enables you to order one item at a time, rather than having minimum requirements.
All your cuts, burger, and fresh sausage come directly from your deer. Is it the easiest way to do it? No, but it is a commitment we made when we first started this business 20 years ago. It's a commitment that we intend to continue!  Any time you'd like to see how everything works, just ask and we'll give you the 25 cent tour!
