This is what grumpy looks like!
Every summer a few chickens make up their minds that they will just keep hatching and hatching little flocks of chicks. This year we've had about 20 baby chicks hatch. Enough is enough! So I'm making sure that each day no one gets too attached to their eggs, but boy do they hate my interference. This hen and I have a little tussle each day! The grandkids love to see her fluff up and try to peck me. Me? Not so much!

Just like Grandma used to make... Country Fried Ribeye Steak!
Take any Cordray Farms steak cut, dip in vinegar, then dredge in flour. Salt and pepper to your liking. Heat oil in your frying pan until hot and carefully add your steak. Be sure to let it cook well before attempting the flip or you will lose that delicious crust!
