HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY TO CORDRAY'S!
This week 20 years ago, we started processing deer in the back yard. We had a pole barn 3 car garage and a cooler. All the deer were cut and packaged inside the cooler. The first deer we ever skinned belonged to Don Balderson. The children were 4, 10 and 12 and Michael and I both worked full time jobs. That first year we processed about 70 deer, did all the work with just the family and thought we were busy!
My photos back then were Polaroids. but I kept this one of Kenneth unloading a pickup! The deer belonged to Bruce Rawl.
Thank you to all of you who've helped our family and our business grow with your continued patronage!

Cows grazing on the last of the green grass...
This is the peaceful pose I first saw them in as I tried to get close enough for a shot.
Did I mention Brandy went with me?
Goodbye, Cows!

Read our mention in Dr. Craig Howenstine's blog.
That weekend I went to Cordray Farm in Ravenel, SC to fill my freezer
with good raw food for him to eat. They process what they cannot use
for human consumption from their grass fed cows to make dog food. This
is the best thing you could ever feed your dog, and it is the same price
or cheaper then a bag of dry food at Sam’s. In the last month my lab
has slimmed down considerably. I haven’t been able to weigh him, but it
is very evident in his appearance that he has lost weight. If I had
to guess, I think he has probably lost 5-8 lbs.
Click here or the post title to read the entire blog post about his dog's recovery. Dr. Howenstine shared this story with us when he stopped by to restock his freezer with all natural raw food. Thanks for sharing!
